What's it like in terms of crowds?

I would love to sneak in a trip during the Christmas season but school holidays aren't really favourable before Christmas so was thinking of early Jan.

I'm guessing the French schools will all still be off but is it quiet compared to the week either side of Christmas itself?

We went last year on the 1st January. We arrived late afternoon and the parks were packed solid. However from the 2nd onwards it was very do-able. Not off peak quiet but things like small world and teacups were walk ons and the bigger rides such as BTM had queues of about 40mins.
It was a lovely time to go with all the xmas decs and tree lighting ceremony still going on too:goodvibes

....an I guess we will see us there.

I´m planning to go from 02.01. until 07.01.14.

We went that time two years ago and it was lovely. The waiting time was ok and you get the full Christmas feeling once again.

It´s great time to stay there but beware it could be cold and yes...this time the French are at school holiday too.....well nothing against our French friends.:rotfl:

We will be there between the 5th - 9th January as well. Can't wait to catch the end of the Christmas season.

Thank you all, that's really helpful.

The waiting time was ok and you get the full Christmas feeling once again.

It's interesting you say this as I'm wondering if I'll still feel Christmassy! I'd MUCH prefer to go before Christmas, it adds to the excitement.
