we are going to Disney the first week of December and we are going to take one day for both Universal parks. We were there in June so we know which rides we like which will help. In December I know the parks normally close at 6 so we are trying to decide if we need to get the Express pass or note or if lines would really even be an issue. Should we bother with the Express passes or not?
Now there are only 9 rides we really HAVE to go on. 3 of which are roller coasters DH will be riding alone which have single rider lines(he got on right away in June so I am sure in Dec he would as well). There are only 2 I think would have long lines which is Simpsons because it was an hour wait in June but also that was peak season and it was brand new so it may not be as bad this Dec. The other is the new roller coaster ride opening this year although DH will also be riding that alone and it may also have a single rider line.
We don't want to stay onsite at Universal since we are doing it mid week and I hate transferring hotels. It's much more convenient to stay at Disney and we will rent a car for that day and go to Universal first thing in the morning.
