First Week of December at the Poly!!!

GREAT THREAD!!:woohoo:
We are so ready.
11/29 to 12/8!!!!!
Made our ADR requests today with Poly concierge.
Ahhhhhh heaven LVC in December.
The fireworks, the decorations, less crowds, the happiness.:santa:
Love it people!!!

Gotcha added! Maybe we'll see you in the lounge!!

Glad you got your flights, guys!! That always makes it more "real" to me. :thumbsup2

Congrats to you too then! An extra night is so exciting - even though we will be sleeping (don't arrive at MCO until 8:30 pm, so it'll be straight to bed by the time we arrive at POP & settle in) we'll be able to get a full day in on the first day of the Poly leg of our trip! Yay! I have to thank i_heart_the_mouse again for her advice of flying a day earlier (we were originally arriving on the Sunday after Thanksgiving). It saved us $650, and that's AFTER paying for the one night at POP! I think I owe her a lapu lapu or two! :rotfl:

Actually I prefer the Pina Colavas, but I suppose a Lapu Lapu will do :rotfl2:

In all seriousness though, I'm super happy it worked out for you :woohoo:

I never actually got around to trying a pina colava last time. I'll just have to buy a few for myself while I'm at it! :rolleyes1

Believe it or not, I've never had anything to drink at the Poly. I don't drink around the kids, so I've never had the chance. However, we have more grown-ups than kids (6 to 3!), so when, say, the grandparents are watching the kids at the pool, mommies will be relaxing with a cocktail. :cloud9:

Sounds like a great plan! We may need to get DD18 (will be 19 by our trip) to watch her little sisters while we too slip out for a cocktail ...

Very excited this afternoon. Mr. Fedex man showed up with our MVMCP tix! :santa: Six months early, but what the heck, I need these little crumbs to feed my addiction!

Yep, I can't wait to drink out of a pineapple!! :rotfl:

We had ours delivered last time, but I started doing will-call. One less thing for me to lose. But I do love getting Mickey mail!!!

Hi, I am Tracy aka mrsksomeday. We are doing a split stay - WL Nov. 28 - Dec. 7th then moving to the Poly Dec. 7 - Dec. 10th. We are so excited we have never stayed at either resort :woohoo:.

DD5 was so cute. She was here when Mr. Fedex arrived. He looked at the envelope and asked "are you going to Disney?" She got so excited because she knew the mail had to be from "the mouse house". When I opened it she almost jumped out of her skin when I told her that Mickey had sent us tickets for his Christmas party! :wizard:

Hey, I'm Tracey too! ("Maia" is really DD7). I can't comment on WL (never stayed there), but if you're anything like us you'll LOVE the Poly! :cloud9:

We haven't stayed at WL, either (not for lack of trying, though). It's a GORGEOUS resort. We'll stay there someday, too. At least we'll try!! ;)

So cute!!

My mom (who'll be on our trip) is Tracy, too. Tracey/ys and DISers are taking over the Poly!

I follow orders so here I am!

Me. DD8, DD6 and my mom will be at the Poly Dec 4-11

So far the plan is MVMCP Dec 5

Our plan is to be there on the 5th, too. :santa:

I was getting a little depressed last night trying to plan out which days to go to each park. The unofficial website lists MK only once as the best park to visit during our entire visit, though the crowds listed for most days are 3 and 4. So I am almost to the point of just go where we want on each day and if don't like the crowds then go to another park. That is what is nice about park hoppers. The good side is that we are staying at the Poly.

We're leaving on the 5th. It's crazy, since it's still 6 months until we go on our trip, but people talking about being there after we leave depresses me! :sad2: I think we all need some serious help! :lmao:

I get the same way!! Not to mention, when we get there, I see the sad people at MCO with their ears and sunburns. I try to forget it will be us in a week. Then I get to the resort and see the sad people pulling their luggage to the front. I try to forget that will be us in a week. Guess the only semi-cure is to keep going at least once a year. ;)

Ugh!! I really like to take newbies to MK on the first day with a pre-opening ADR, but our first day is a orning EMH, so we're headed to AK instead. I guess it will just build the anticipation for MK. I just think it's soooo amazing to see MK for the first time with an empty Main Street as you're headed to the castle for breakfast. :cloud9:

I look at the best/worst park days but ultimately we go where we want to and utilize fast passes and park hoppers. I think you are absolutely right it will help us staying at the Poly.

That is so funny that there are that many Tracey/y's that will be at the Poly.

We requested first floor, but if you're TPV, we'll be able to yell at each other from our patio/balcony.]

You could totally hit MVMCP solo!!

We sure could, who knows you may be below us.:lmao: That would be really cool.:woohoo:

And I never thought about doing the MVMCP by myself, I may have to if I can't get her on board.

IS IT DECEMBER YET?????:rotfl2::rotfl2: Oh wait a minute, is it November yet?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Nov. 27th to be exact.:lmao:

We're (not so patiently) waiting for November 27 too! It's crazy. We're having all this beautiful summer weather and I'm looking forward to the winter! :lmao:
