First Week in January?

Wondering if anyone has been in the first week in January and how the crowds were.

I think that is one of the lightest weeks of the year crowd-wise.

You have to register to see days that far ahead, but it's free and very useful.

That's a good time to visit for crowds. It is a trade off though. Rehabs start up and Christmas Decorations come down. This means Holiday rides need to close.

I disagree. We went that time last year and it was very crowded. Lots of schools have that week off now. And it seemed that DLR was not prepared for the crowds and didn't have enough cast members working. So wait times were worse than our end of July trip. It was nice not to sweat to death though. We had an enjoyable trip, but I wouldn't go into it planning for light crowds.

Not only do a lot of US schools have that time off, but the Australian summer school holidays are in full swing by then, and a lot of us head on over to Disneyland - like us next year! You'd be surprised how many of us use those 6 weeks to plan an overseas trip.
