But it does reflect resort crowds, and fewer people in the resorts means fewer people taking advantage of EMHs, am I right? Please let us have this one little glimmer of low crowds hope.

Exactly, that will help. I don't think you will see low crowds but lower than other times.

I have stayed in late July bleeding over tyo the first week in August and consider this the best time to go outside of early fall .It is hot but if you an stand the heat that is okay. The crowds are still big but noticeably less than when I have gone late June. We noticed many visitors were from other countries. Even when the schools are not in yet but are gearing up for start everyone is still done vacationing.
