Hi I am new to DIS board and am so happy to have found you all. My family puts up with my Disney Obsession. Grew up going to Disneyland and finally get to see WDW! Our trip is YC concierge 12/19 - 12/25. Stephanie in concierge has help me out so much with PS but would love any suggestions and info. Like we arrive at 4:15pm and a towncar is picking us up. Just how long does it take to get to YC from airport? And our flight leaves at 5:15 pm on Christmas Day so when should the towncar pick us up. Also, Stephanie has us in AK on 12/20 and we are seeing Cirque du Soleil -late show that night. Should we take a taxi to get there? Oh too many questions. sorry so sorry. Guess I get excited! Thanks to all of you for putting up with me.

Really everyone here is so helpful and friendly..we know just how you feel cause we are DISNEY OBSESSED..anyway you are goig to love YC concierge everyone there is wonderful , the resort is out of this world and you have the best pool on Disney property..you are also going at the most wonderful time of the year everything is decorated to the nines and looks soooooooooo beautiful..try to go to some of the other resorts especially the GF as it is decorated unbelievable with a gingerbread HOUSE all made out of guess what GINGERBREAD..they also have free hot chestnuts at the entrence with the CM"s dressed in 1800 costumes..try to go to a MVMCP which is a seperate ticket at nite from 7pm-12 midnight ..its about 35 a person but well worth it in my ho..enjoy your day at AK they close early so you will have time to go back to YC,shower, change, eat or go to the concierge lounge and either take the bus to DD or take a taxi either way you can decide..the only piece of advice I can give you is DO NOT GO TO THE MAGIC KINGDOM ON CHRISTMAS DAY..We went and left in 10 min as you can not even walk ,you are just shoulder to shoulder and it is truly horrible..maybe make a PS for a Christmas breakfast..and leave yourself at least 3 hours to go to the airport before your flight..you will have a truly Magical Christmas at WDW aS LONG AS YOU DON'T GET TOO COMMANDO. try to enjoy the resort and parks with an easy way and take the time to see all the special moments you can have there..Marianne The trip from the airport to the YC is only about 20-30 minIf you have any questions about any other things (you didn't say if you have children with you) just ask here. the people here will be glad to give you any ideas of what you would like to do..just tell them your interests..have a magical Disney Christmas

Hi Bunnymkc. Thank you for your long reply, I read it to my DH and he was very impressed. Lets see, there are 4 of us - me, DH, DS & DD (twins -21yrs). So thats 4 adults looking to be like 4 kids! We will be cellebrating there 22 B-day and our 29th Anniversary at WDW. Great idea MMVMCP. Will be going on the 19th - a little afraid we may be tired from our long flight (depart 6am Calif time arrive 4:15pm Florida time) But we all could not imagine missing it snow on Main St. I just hope we arrive at MMVMCP by 7pm. Wish we could get there early like so many others are talking about. Trying not to do WDW the COMANDO way is difficult. There is so much to see my head starts glowing with magical stars from all the choices. If you see a huge glow from WDW on the evening of December 19th don't panic, its just me Glowing from being with my family at the Happiest Place on Earth.

I've been to disney the week after Easter for the past 3 years! It's my FAVORITE time to go!! It's peak season with long hours and all of the fireworks and rides open but I think the crowds are slightly on the small side that time of year, not like the off-season but much less then you would expect for peak time! The lines for splash and space and ToT and Test Track build up but if you take advantage of early entry and fastpass you should never wait more then 15-20 min for anything!! Not to mention pretty good weather.. I highly recommend it!

Omg I'm sorry! I thought this was the post about going for easter! I too am going around Christmas this year and wondering about the crowds
