Hi,We will be traveling to WDW for the first time in Nov/02.My DH and I would like some time without our DS(5) to experience the "scary rides" and have dinner.I have read some about the kids clubs.Where are these held?Is there an age limit? How much do they cost.I have also heard that these are themed-do they have specific activities or is it set up mostly like a daycare?Do I need to call ahead of time to make ressies? My DS loves peter pan so I think the pirate cruise is in-I hope he is not to young!
Thank you for all your help in advance for awnsering my million questions!!:)

Lori,

You might want to pick a kid's club based on what park you and DH want to go into. We used Sandcastle club at the BC resort so we could go into Epcot for the evening. Our children are 6 and 9 and really enjoyed a few hours off their feet with video games, movies and toys to play with. I believe it cost $8 per hour (per child) and included dinner. We were given a beeper in case they needed to reach us.

If your son likes Peter Pan and you want to go to MK, use the Neverland Club at Poly.

My kids did the Pirate Cruise at GF last month. There were children ranging from 4-10 on it. It was one of their favorite activities of the whole week. There were 4 adult CMs and about 20 kids.

Hope this helps. :)

Hi Lori,

We had our kids (6 & 8) in the Neverland Club at the Polynesian resort. You check-in in Wendy's room and they climb through the window into the club. The kids had a blast. They bowled, played video games, made crafts, played nintendo, watched movies. They were there from 5-10 while we went to diner at Downtown disney and Pleasure Island. It's also $8 and hour. They had a kids buffet that was set up in a pirate ship with chicken nuggets, PB&J, Mac & cheese and a few other things. THey had juice and cookies later in the night. They begged to go back the next day when we picked them up.
