First Visit Question: Closest Major Airports?

Which are the 2 closest major airports to Disneyland (so I can select the most convenient flights). We will be flying Southwest airlines from Long Island, NY.

Personally, I think the Long Beach Airport is probably the easiest, and I believe its the closest. John Wayne would probably be the next closest.

John Wayne/Orange County (SNA) is very close. It is large enough that jets fly in but still small enough to make it a snap getting in and out and renting a car. It is a dream compared to LAX (not to mention the traffic from LAX).
