Hello, I am visiting the parks with my hubby (no kids) at Disneyland from Sunday April 26th to Tuesday April 28th. I am not from USA but from Ecuador (Southamerica).

I am planning to buy a 3 day ticket park with Hooper and Magic Morning. I tried to read as much info as i can (it`s difficult, because my language is Spanish) .

I plan to see fireworks and fantasmic (?) on Sunday (i`ve read that these only occurs on weekends in april, not sure)

I expect to enjoy World of Color on Monday or Tuesday. Hope i can .

I also enjoy meeting characters, so i will check carefully where they are to get my pics

I posted this in another forum , but i will post it anyways:

Also, i would like to buy photopass + and pay $69.95 in advance instead of $99.95.

My questions are:
1) I read about a CD that will arrive to my home. I understand it should apply to people living in USA. As i am ecuadorian, not sure how it will apply to me, can i get it from the camera station at the beginning of my trip?

2) After i visit Disneyland i will be visiting some other places in the West Coast that will take me around 2 weeks. When i return to my country , could i still download the pics? Because i read about 14 days time

3) If i buy it now (dec 2014), will it expire until my visit in April 2015?

Thank you in advance.

Have a great day, people!! :woohoo:

According to the voucher:
"Standard Domestic Shipping for Disney's PhotoCD is included in your purchase price. Express Shipping or International Shipping are not included."
So it sounds to me that you would need to pay for shipping if you wanted the physical CD sent to you. When I went to redeem my Photopass photos, I had two delivery options: 1) Shipped on Compact Disc(s) and 2) Download to Your Computer. You might be able to use the download option to get your photos.

2) After i visit Disneyland i will be visiting some other places in the West Coast that will take me around 2 weeks. When i return to my country , could i still download the pics? Because i read about 14 days time
I think the 14-day limit refers to how many days of Photopass you have. The card is only valid for 14-days from when you pick it up. The photos themselves must be viewed/claimed with 30-days of being taken. From the Photopass Card says:
"Photos must be claimed within 30 days of being taken. Once claimed, they will be available for 30 days from the claim date."
So as long as you access your photos within 30-days of the first one being taken, you should be okay.

3) If i buy it now (dec 2014), will it expire until my visit in April 2015?
I couldn't find an expiration date, but I don't have my voucher anymore.

Thank you so much for your reply. :goodvibes

I did the purchase and received the mail confirmation. It says no cost for international shipping and that it will take 7-14 days to arrive to my address. Will wait for more info about the shipping and let you know the news.

Just to make sure we're on the same page...there are actually two CDs involved. The first is the PhotoPass+ Package that comes when you pre-order PhotoPass+. It includes a paper voucher that you take with you to Disneyland to get the lanyard that you will use when you take photos.

After you get home, you can view your photos and edit them. Then, when you're happy with them, you can order a PhotoCD of all of your photos. The shipping information I quoted is about the PhotoCD that you would get after your trip is completed.

Thank you! I hope i bought the correct product :).

Project Type Unit Price Qty. SubTotal
DLR PhotoPassPlus $69.95 1 $69.95

Products total: 69.95
International Shipping: 0.00
Tax: 0.00
Order total: 69.95

So, there are two cds , that explains everything :rotfl: So, if i want a cd with my photos, then i have to pay for the international shipping, right?

I did a school report on Ecuador when I was in the sixth grade. It's a beautiful and fascinating country but a long way from Disneyland!
I can't help with your question but I hope you have a magical trip!

Scott

The $70 is the pre-order price for PhotoPass+, so you should be all set there. Yes, I think you'll have to pay for shipping for the CD of your photos, but you might look into the download option if international shipping is expensive. Be sure to pick up your lanyard at the start of your trip. Have a great trip!
