:D Aloha! After our free week at POLY (DVC/BCV incentive) in late June, we head up to HH for first trip home ever to any DVC:Pinkbounc !!

Have a few ???? if anyone can help?

1) Quietest location/largest balcony for 2 BR???

2) Bring fishing and crabbing equip. or rent???

3) Reserve activities before arrival??? We will be there busy first wk in July, but will be at POLY week before !How can we pre-reserve from POLY???

4) Pre-reserve bike rentals?

5) Are there bikes for adults that can't use 2-wheelers?

6) Finally....staying Sun. night in Savannah before HH on Mon. Is it safe there? Have heard about problems....Thinking of Hampton Inn near river...

Mahalo for all of your help! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I don't have any advice but I am so excited to be headed Home to HH in July! We haven't been to our Home resort yet, and I am sooooooooo looking forward to it!

Welcome Home!

All of the 2BR villas are identical as far as balconies (they are all large)! Here is a report that may help with locations at HH.

If you have your own fishing equipment and room to transport it, just bring it along. There is equipment at the resort also!

I don't think it's necessary to reserve activites in advance. Making them at the resort should usually be fine.

Same for bike rentals. Should the resort run out, there are many local companies that will deliver to the resort. They have a wide assortment of bikes types.

Have a great trip!! :)

:D Thanks, Doc! The info did help....but still wondering if anyone has personal experience with a really QUIET location...I'm a high school teacher in need of some serious Rest 'n' Relaxation this trip:crazy: !!

Also, any ideas for where to stay in Savannah first night?

We are so excited about HHI...DH LOVES it here at the Jersey Shore...Luckily, he 'endures' WDW with us each year...now thanks to DVC we can have WDW and the shore (only BETTER!);)

Mahalo!

We stayed downtown Savannah last year - may have been Hampton, may have been Marriott. It was a 3-4 block easy walk down to the river (I even let my 16 yo daughter walk back alone when she forgot something in the room). I felt very safe and the walk along the river is great.

We have stayed several locations in HH resort - all very quiet as far as we were concerned. It's possible the ones at the very end (far left as you cross the bridge) might be quieter as they are out of the way and overlook the water. You probably don't want to be around the pool for obvious reasons.
