First Visit buttons?

We leave for WDW tomorrow! And I was wondering if they still do the buttons, such as first visit? I know the theme is no longer Celebration and have noticed when I booked some dining I didn't get asked children's ages or if we were celebrating anything. Our son has been home from China for 6 months (exactly as of yesterday) and he has a birthday coming up. He is SUPER excited to go to WDW and we would love for him to be able to get the buttons. We will also have 2 other children with our party who have never been to WDW. I have 1 button at home Ill pack and put on his stroller if they are not doing them there, but would rather get him a new button along with the other 2 children.

When we were there the first week of December, buttons were still available from hotel check-in and in parks. Just had to ask

Yes you can get buttons at the check in desk. Personally, I like to get mine at Town Hall on Main Street. Call me old school.

It's been a little while since our last trip but they definitely still had the buttons then and I am fairly confident they still do - either at the hotel front desks or we got ours at City Hall on Main St ... they had different ones (anniversary, 1st visit, birthday, etc.)

Was there last week. Still sad to be back.

There were plenty of First Visit buttons all around. It almost seems like there are more kinds of buttons now than ever. I even saw a 'Just Engaged' button. Actually several of them.

During Presidents' Week, there was a CM and cart full of buttons in front of City Hall in MK. He was handing out buttons to guests who stopped by.

Thank you for the quick responses, wonderful news! With all the changes since our last visit, I was thinking they may have done away with them. So glad they haven't.

I also noted that you mentioned a dining reservation and not being asked if you were celebrating something. You can still call them back and add a celebration to it. Depending on the restaurant you will get the happy birthday song sang to the birthday boy or girl and a cupcake with a candle on it. Some others will also add a special Birthday Card signed by Mickey and friends.

When I called in to put in room requests to our upcoming trip the cm asked if we were celebrating anything special and I told her it was our first trip. She noted it on the reservation and said they would be waiting at the front desk when we check in.
