55 days till we leave, staying at the Carribbean Beach Resort. 3 of us including 8 year old DD. Anyone know how easy it is to find places to clear memory sticks onto CD's?

And any other advice.........

First trip- Have a great time and take lots of pictures to show us.

I know that you can do digital transfers in the MK at the ...and all of a sudden, my mind goes blank:crazy: ..

I can tell you where it is, though:)

In the same building that houses Tonys Restaurant, is the photo gallery/Kodak pic, etc. It's right byt the Railway Station...

Aaarrggh! Why can't I think of the name:crazy:

You can do this at Epcot as well.

I do know that there have been a few posters that have had problems with the CD's on arriving home...so if you can take an extra mem stick or two, that would safeguard some very precious memories.

Post them when you get back!!

Wow mejaie...how exciting. Why don't you add a countwown timer to your signature. You can get the instructions
here.

I think you're referring to Exposition Hall (there's a Kodak camera centre there). I transfer my digital pics to my laptop while I'm in WDW but I think I recall people saying you can do it there.

Exposition Hall!!

Hi, we went to the Carribbean Beach Resort for the first time in May - we loved it. In answer to your question, we had a car, so when we went to get snacks etc. we downloaded the files from our camera at the same time. This time we went to the Super Wallmart on 192. They can take any kind of memory device, stick, MMD, SD. Remember to put the finished CD back into the computer and check that the transfer word ok before you wipe your card/stick clean.

Thanks for the tips. I have a laptop but Windows NT is incompatible with my camera.

On average how many pictures do you guys take?

You can also transfer pictures from your memory card to a CD at Imagination Pavilion. The last time I asked (which was a while ago), it was $11.99 for the first 40 images and $5.99 for each CD after that. It took about 2 hours. I believe you can also deposit your memory card into a photo developing envelope (the same one they use for film) and get your pictures downloaded that way ... they only thing is, you'd have to give up your card for at least 24 hours. I was also reading that they have self-serve stations at MK but the person who posted about it said that she had lost all the pictures she downloaded.

What I usually do is bring several 256 MB memory cards... that way I don't have to worry about downloading or deleting anything. I usually take hundreds of pictures since I scrapbook and I never know what I want until I get home :)

CBR was my first resort at Disney that I stayed onsite at.
It was wonderful. I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Of course you will, what am I saying? It's Disney!!!!!
