First Trip to WDW!!! :D

I have been on the DIS forums for a little while... mainly stalking boards and reading posts...

DH and I are going to Walt Disney World in June!!! I have never been (and I am 25!) I am so excited! We will be taking his DD who is 16. You're never too old f or Disney, right?! She hasn't ever been. This is a first for everyone in the family!

Any tips, tricks, etc.? We will be traveling with our sister's family as well.

Epcot, woohoo Epcot! If I were 25 I would sleep in, research the words extra magic hours, and make my way through the world 1 amazing drink at a time! But I am not 25, so I drink during the day with my disappointed wife and children laughing or embarrassed by my actions! Remember, Disney world may be the only place on the planet where it's socially acceptable to skip to your next drink, so take advantage, and may god have sympathy on your liver!

Welcome and happy planning. I would choose your park days first by checking out a crowd calendar then go from there and decide which attractions you are interested in and which restaurants. Good luck!

YAY!!!! First trips are so exciting!!! Tip: Disney can be overwhelming....make sure to stop and take a breath. And ENJOY!!! It truly is magical.

You are going to LOVE IT!!! I was 29 for my first visit (our Honeymoon!) and no matter WHAT age, it is still magical. I'm sure at times, I acted like a 5 yo but who cares? IF you have the time, stop in at Rose & Crown in EPCOT for a beer. They have a beer that is Harp and cider with black currant in it and it's TASTY!!! I am sporting bright pink cheeks in more than one photo from our honeymoon because of that tasty beverage. Also check out the 2014 confirmed snacks thread on this site for the plethora of snacks that are allowed on the dining plan. And most of all...HAVE A BLAST!!!
