First trip to SSR

we are taking our 1st trip as dvc members to ssr 11/24-11/30 in a 2 bedroom villa. we are looking for any tips on getting around, which building to stay in, closest bus stops-anything that will help. We wanted to stay at Boardwalk, but there were no openings. so any help we can get will be great! Thanks!

Have a great trip. Thanksgiving weekend will be very crowded.

SSR is huge hopefully you can be close to the main building. DD is in walking distance so that's nice. We were kind of disenchanted w/ the whole place but it is newer and building up. The bus service was great when we went but alot of people said it was bad when they went so I think it is a hit or miss. MK is the longest ride you will take so be prepared for that. The resturant was good the pool was cool, but we felt that there wasn't enough to spend time at the resort. It seemed more like a place to eat and sleep. But for us it is fine cause we aren't there for the resorts. Ant other questions feel free to ask.

We LOVED SSR! It is awesome! We chose "The Springs" as it was close to everything... right beside one of the bus stops, across from the pool, near the arcade, two eateries, and gift shop! It is a beautiful resort, you won't be disappointed! The Artists Pallette is a wonderful place for CS and if you are on the DDP, it is included!

Just in case you have your own transportation. I can also tell you where Wal Mart, etc. is located if interested in getting supplies for you room/ fridge.

Have a great trip... SSR is my home resort... My first DVC trip will be next year in October.... And this will be my first trip to SSR... I am already looking forward to it...
