We are going to DL for the first time March 18-23. We will be staying at the GCH. We're driving from AZ and I thought the first day--Sunday--we would go to Knott's and eat at the Chicken Dinner place and just do some shopping. I am a HUGE snoopy nut!! What are you thoughts on that idea?? How far from DL is Knott's??

Also.....need Dining advice while at the parks and all. We have 2 DD's ages 3 and 7. We will want to do a character breakfast. Which one do you suggest? They like princesses the most. I also want to do the princess dinner....not sure exactly where that is....could you help me out. What are your must do eating places while you are in the parks?

Thanks for any help!!! :)

Never been to Knotts, so cannot help you there.

The Princess Lunch and Dinner is at Ariel's Grotto inside the California Adventure park. I recommend getting a priority seating so you will not have to worry about getting to eat there.

We love the Lilo and Stitch breakfast (paradise pier), and Goofy's looks like a lot of fun at DLH. I actually wouldn't do the breakfast at the GCH again, it is very laid back, not a great deal of interaction with characters that really interested the kids. Last time we stayed at GCH and walked to PP for the Lilo and Stitch breakfast.

One thing I defnitely recommend is White Water Snacks at GCH. It is a little snack shop with some great food for the best pricing that I have found. Portions are huge, and we found that many of the items we could share. The place is not super crowded, and offers some tables. It was great for us and our DD5 and DS3.

First there is a big snoopy store outside of knott's across from the chicken place.
The princess dining is located at California adventure and they have a lunch and dinner, wish I could go too , but my sons say no!
as for breakfast my kids love Lilo and Stich at paradise Pier , they enjoyed playing games with stich , and second choice would be Goofy's kitchen at DLH. Hope i helped a little bit , have a great trip!

I've been to Knott's Berry farm once. Its more on the scale of a smaller Six Flag's amusement park...with plenty of rides.....has more roller coasters and "big kids" rides.....but has plenty for younger kids. Its not as "grand and spectacular" as the Disney Parks...but worth it if you are a Snoopy fan. With the way traffic is in LA...I think it was within 20 to 30 minutes away from DL....like everything else is in the LA area.

Thanks!!

At the Lilo & Stitch Breakfast--are there any other characters?
What characters are at Goofy's kitchen?
Also, I know there is a link for PS where you enter your date and it tells you when you can make your ressies......doesn anyone have it cause I can't seem to find it.

Thanks So Much!!!

At the Lilo & Stitch Breakfast--are there any other characters? Daisy and Pluto are often there
What characters are at Goofy's kitchen? It varies from day to day- when we were there it was Goofy, Max, Donald, Aladin, and Snow White
Also, I know there is a link for PS where you enter your date and it tells you when you can make your ressies......doesn anyone have it cause I can't seem to find it. priority seating can be made 60 days before your trip

My family likes Minnies at the Plaza inn for breakfast. We saw Minnie, Hook, the Fairy Godmother, Chip and Dale, Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger. We had a great time. Much better then our experience at Goofy's.

when we went to Lilo and Stich it was , minnie and Daisy and someone else ....why can't i remember???? oh well it was great!

When we went to Goofy's Kitchen this November we had a great time. Great food and the kids entertainment was good too, even though we have no kids! They make all the kids get up and dance at different stages, the characters, goofy in particular, are hilarious!
Our characters were Goofy, Baloo, Chip, Dale, Pluto, Alice and the Fairy Godmother.
Did I mention the food was great?

Just wanted to say that we'll be there the same time as you! I'm not so happy about Fantasmic! being closed, or Splash Mtn, either. Oh, well. Guess I'll have to make the best of it. Have fun planning.:surfweb:

I agree with previous posters, you probably want to make reservations for Ariel's Grotto (DCA)(Most of the princesses) and also Goofy's Kitchen (DLH)characters vary (Goofy, Max, Donald, Merlin, etc). The Plaza Inn has a nice character breakfast too. (It's located in Disneyland at the end of Main Street......we saw Minnie, Mickey, Tigger, Piglet, Pooh) Also recommend White Water Snacks at GCH and the Bengal BBQ and the Dole Whip at Adventureland for quick snacks. Definately check out DLH even if you don't go to Goofy's Kitchen. The Neverland Pool and grounds are really beautiful, and I think you and your daughters would enjoy seeing it. I also heard that the Lilo and Stitch at the PPH is cute (haven't been to this one). I agree with the previous poster who said they'd skip the Storyteller's Cafe at GCH (not one of the better character meals, IMHO)
