Oops, think I might have posted this in the wrong spot the first time.

We are going to DL in a couple weeks and was wondering what we can do to make the day extra special for our birthday girl. Unfortunately, we are on a pretty tight budget. Does Disney do anything special for birthday guests? We are not staying at a Disney hotel. This is our first trip to DL, I've been to DW but it has been several years. Any other advice for a first timer would be great.

I can't wait!:yay:

They have "First time" and "Birthday" buttons at City Hall when you first enter the park. It will get her a lot of birthday wishes if you get the birthday one.

This is our first time with a birthday during a trip so that's all I know of so far, so I'll be listening in too :)

If you are making a reservation for a meal, mention it's for a birthday. Do this again when you sit down to your server. You may get a special dessert.

The birthday button is always a hit with the kids (oh who am I kidding it's a hit for adults too!!:lmao:) We just got back on 3/4 from celebrating my son's 5th birthday and he loved all the attention he got. They'd wish him a happy birthday and then ask him how old he was. Once he said 5 they'd ask him for a High 5! It was pretty cute!! We also celebrated my DD's 3rd birthday in Disney last year and she also loved it. As it was mentioned before make sure if you make any dining reservations you tell them you are celebrating a birthday as they do make a big deal out of it (singing and a cupcake or brownie depending on where we were). Or they have anytime we've been for birthday's. Have a great trip!!

at city hall there is a phone and goofy will give a birthday wish. Normally when you get your birthday button the they will have u pick up the phone. I know u said ur on a tight biget but there is a place that sing happy birthday and u get to decorate ur own cup cake it's 15.00 a person.
