We are going to Disney mid Feb. (15th-19th) Can anyone give us info. on crowd levels, experiences that time of the year, weather; recommendations on what parks what days, due to the crowd levels, etc... We're flying blindly here! We'll be staying at the Polynesian! Can't wait! I'd love to hear from anyone who can give us pointers!! pirate:

Welcome to The DIS!!

Check out this site. If you scroll down, you see a list of crowd levels, best park(s), park(s) to avoid, etc. for each day.

You can also check out this site for historical weather

Have a great trip!

Since it will be your first time maybe you should buy Birnbaum's Guide to WDW...it's a good starter book and of course you'll get your questions answer here on the Dis.

I agree with buying the guide book, it will give you some insight as to where everything is, good times to ride. Food choices, etc etc etc. It is well worth the $20.00 it cost.

The Poly is great, we have stayed there, you wont be sorry. Enjoy your trip.

** MAKE sure you see spectromagic and Fantasmic, both are great.!!!

Thank you everyone for all the helpful info. This site is so great! It is so helpful; WDW can seem a little overwhelming when you're planning from afar! Thanks so much

Thanks everyone for the helpful info! We are sooo excited. Hope this will be the first of many many WDW trips! (First time was back in '81- but that's soo long ago!!)

I agree - Birnbaum's is like my Bible. I buy a new one every year even though it's not completely necessary for us anymore. But I just have to have it!!! :teeth:

Hey, we're going to be at the Poly from Feb 15th to the 23rd! If you see a somewhat frazzled mom with a 4 yr old girl and nearly 6yr old boy (his bday is while we are there), come say hi :) :flower:

Feel free to send me a private message, I can share our itinerary with you!

:) Bri

We're leaving this Sat.(Jan.21). First time for the family. We're staying at Ft. Wilderness and have Park Hopper plus. Since the crowds are supposed to be pretty decent this time of year, should we still call ahead this week to reserve some of these restaurant seatings? I've seen things about them but really don't know much. Any suggestions? Thanks

Although it is a great time of year to go do make reservations for anywhere you reallly want to eat. have a great trip.
Diane
