First trip to Disney pins question

Our good friends are going on their first trip to Disney in February. I would like to give them the "first trip to disney" pins as a send off gift, especially since they are staying off property and won't get them at check in. Is there any way Disney could mail me the pins?

Probably not. But all of the parks should have them available. Super excited for your friends!

If you can't get the pins you have in mind, perhaps a good little gift is a pin lanyard (if they will use it) that reflects their favorite Disney movies/characters.

Just to clarify a little....they will get BUTTONS that say "first visit" at check-in. (Tell them to ask if they're not offered!) There is also a "My First Visit" PIN, like you would collect on a lanyard. I don't see them in the shop disney app right now, but you could try calling WDW Guest Merchandise or the Disney Springs pin store direct and asking if you could purchase the pins and have them shipped, if that's what you're looking for.

If it is the pin, I do also like PP's idea of a lanyard as a gift; we love ours. And/or you could buy them a few assorted pins on eBay ("lot for trading") to start trading with; just be careful that they're authentic pins (check reviews!).

Well DUH...that went right in one ear (or eye, I guess) and out the other! Good catch and good info. We stayed offsite last year (free room) for my DD bday trip, and we got her bday button at AK GS. Sweet young CM dotted the "I" in her name with a Mickey head; it was one of her favorite things from the whole trip!
