DH and myself recently got back from a one week stay at BW. We had a great studio, Room 5048. Looked right out onto the main pool.
It was so nice to be able to walk to EPCOT and MGM. For us, that was heaven.
We checked in on April 24 and left on April 30th.
The parks were crowded as it appeared to be Spring Break for the upper Eastern States. Did not bother us much as we would look at the wait time and if it was too long...we just kept on walking. We kept telling ourselves, we can do that one next time. One of the joys of DVC!!!! Got to love it.
We were able to do Soarin" What a ride. It is so cool.
We had lunch with an Imagineer at the Brown Derby. Two other couples were at our table. One couple were long time DVCers and we realized we would be down at WDW the same time in November and hope to met up with them. The other couple was going on the DVC tour the next day.
Lunch was amazing. Pricey, but well worth the investment of time and money. Jim was so interesting. He designed a great deal of Animal Kingdom and also had his hands in the redoing of Tower of Terror.
One word of caution. Even though I had read on the boards that you should either take a picture of your photo pass or write the number down, we never took the second or two to do that. You guessed it. We lost it somewhere along the line. So, I would strongly suggest everyone learn from our mistake and at the very least, write the number down!!
