First Trip to Beach Club

We are new DVC members and we are thinking of staying at the Beach Club.

We are trying to see if anyone can recommend a room or bulding which would allow us to view the firewroks at night.

We have never stayed at Beach Club, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

This Thread by Doc should help with the room views. Requesting Epcot view, upper floor should do it.

Do remember that these are only requests and they can't always be met. So don't bank too much on them. It's not worth the letdown if what you wan't isn't available.

Request and Epcot view, upper floor. They are requests, not guarantees. Check in as early as possible in the day. Epcot views sometimes give you a view of the road...not the greatest view during the day, but nice at night to see IllumiNations.

Does anyone know which rooms have the full balcony as opposed to the small ones? We'll be a BC Apr. 3-7th, part of our Land/Sea package. Confirmation says standard view- what might that mean? For what we're paying for the package, I expect more than a parking lot!

Not sure what that would be, since BCV does not have a division of "standard " or "preferred" views. Only the BWV has that distinction among the DVC resorts.

Curious as to why you picked BCV as your first visit. Have you ever stayed at another DVC resort?

I was there this last November and stayed in room 538. It was great. You kinda had to look around the corner to see the fireworks, but it was just wonderful being that close.

The view out of the windows was great also. Looking directly at the ball and The Land.

You do, however, also look right at the street below, but I did not find that to be a problem noise wise.

Yikes! I'm in the wrong forum. Thought I was in Resorts!! Anyway, we selected the BC for our Land/Sea, accompanying our Category 4. Can't wait till Apr. 3rd. Sorry DVC'ers. I'll just mozey back over with the poor ole' regular folks now. Thanks!
