Hi, i have been lurking around and reading this forum for a couple weeks now. My fiance and myself are headed to WDW in 8 days for the first time since we were both kids. I think i went in 1981 or so and she went in 1985 or so. I have read a lot on here and got some good tips. We get in on oct-6 late at night. Plans are:
sat: MK all day (9-12) figure without any kids we should be able to see most things
sun:epcot all day (food and wine!!)
Mon: animal kingdom
Tues: back to epcot for more food and wine
wed: undecided
thurs: travelling back home

do you guys think that we will be able to see everything at the MK in one whole day? I mean, we don't have any kids, so we figured we could skip the kiddie things and just hit up the cool things. I know we want 2 days at the food and wine expo. I don't know what to do with the last day. maybe a water park or maybe go to sea world. what do you guys think?

If you are planning on skipping the the kid rides in FL, then you should be able to do MK in one day. Depending on how busy it is, you may be able to do those later in the day.

Enjoy your trip - since it's been awhile, there are lots of changes.

If you're going to skip some things, I think you'll be fine. When DH and I went with our two DDs we were able to finish up mostly everything except POC because it was closed for remodeling and Jungle Cruise because the parade was going to start. Don't cross all the "kiddy rides" off your list though. Those are the most nostalgic! They will really take you back and add magic to your trip.

yeah, we aren't going to skip the kids stuf entirely, more like hit the ones we want to and skip others. We are both pretty excited. Fiance isn't too interested in MGM, but i may make her go on the last day. If you had the choice, would you hit sea world, one of the water parks, or MGM?

I don't think you'll have any problems doing MK in one day. We committed a day to MK, and did everything on our list, and more.

Have a wonderful trip!
