I always read the Dis boards but have never written a trip reprt before so here goes. I am going to try to keep it short.
cast. Myself 35 husband 43 daughter 14 ( turned it while at WDW )
we stayed at POP. 50's section 4th floor jukebox bldg facing pool but at end by hourglass lake.
Our first full day there we spent at Epcot. We got picked as family of the day. We got to ride in a test track car thru the park before the park opened. We also got to ride test track four times in a row before they even opened up the park. Then we were taken on a tour of the upstairs of the building. We were able to get some really neat pictures of Mission to Mars and other various places from the view point. We were given fast passes for anytime for Test Track and another voucher for any ride that accepted fast passes. We also got a family photo ( 8 x 10 ) of us with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale. We also were given a voucher for some sort of special seating for illuminations but we were not able to use it as we were going to MNSSHP that night.
We went to MNSSHP on the 5 and 6. This is the only time we did the MK and it was excellent. We literaly walked onto rides. On BTMR we rode it 6 times in a row before we had to get out and walk back around.
On one if the nights at MNSSHP there was a 20 min wait for Space Mountain and the girl at the enterance had a houlahoop and said if you could make it go around 10 times you would get fast passes ( they were no longer giving them out ) well our daughter did it without any problem at all.
We rode EE. It was ok . We did not get sick on it, I thought it was sorta cute but did not ride it again. I am a big thrill ride person, ( I know WDW is not known for thrill rides ) so we did not bother to do it again.
We rode NEMO, again I thought it was cute, good for young kids, I enjoyed being able to ride it and am glad I did but would not wait hours for it, but then again I will not wait hours for any ride, that is why we go in Oct.
We had the dining plan and enjoyed it.
We had a real good time actually my husband always HATED disney whenever we went he always said " he was taking one for the team " Well after he went in One Man's Dream somehow he decided that Disney was not an evil place after all
so I guess that means I can start planning our next trip
We had a great time, We got back yesterday and I still have an armfull of EMH and MNSSHP braclets, I do not want to take them off because then I will have to face the fact that I am not at WDW anymore
any questions please ask.
