Fantastic tips, we're going to do a full day in HS and do the Jedi training.
So I'll prob skip Epcot illuminations as it just seems to take too long. MK has the MNSSHP on same night so we can't go there after BBQ. Does the boat from fort wilderness go to any other resort? Sounds lovely to have a trip on that.

You could hang out at FW, go to Chip and Dale's sing a long (free) roast marshmallows to make s'mores (small charge) and then watch the electric water parade and fireworks from FW beach.
Or take the boat to MK, head on the monorail to Poly and watch from Poly beach or from the TTC. The beauty of any of this is you can also watch the Electric Water Parade.

Not sure if the boat hits other resorts. I know there are different boats going to different resorts. You could take boat to MK and use the resort monorail to tour resorts. There's fun things to do in Ft. Wilderness including a hay ride that's really reasonable and a free campfire (bring stuff to make s'mores).

You could also spend the evening visiting FT. Wilderness and/or the MK resorts and watch Hallowishes from one of the resorts. Ft. Wilderness has a beach for viewing. There's a great balcony at the Contemporary, a dock at GF. Music is piped in to these locations so you get the full experience. There's also the Water Pageant (a short electric parade on water) that travels to each resort every night.

I agree with PP about watching Hallowishes. That's what I would do!

There is a boat from Fort Wilderness to the Contemporary, and a bus from the Settlement end of Fort Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge. In order to catch the bus to Epcot, you would have to first take the internal FW bus back to the other side of FW to reach the Outpost.
