first trip planned 3/31 to AKL

We will be traveling with Our 5 & 8 year old for the first time 3/31 - 4/4, staying at AKL - pool view. Can someone give me an idea of weather, level of crowds, other tips for that time of year? P.S. We are also celebrating the 8 year olds birthday, any suggestions?

I would say in March the temps would be somewhere in the 70's during the day. It could get maybe low 80's. The crowds should not be that bad I would think. However, it depends when schools start having there spring breaks.

I would suggest doing a character dinner for the birthday, Chef Mickey's would be good. If you tell them it was someones birthday I would imagine that they would do something nice.

We will be staying at AKL in February, and we will be celebrating my twins'10 th birthday .. I was given some pointers for birthday surprises, such as getting birthday pins from City Hall in MK, and getting birthday hats for them to wear, and they say that they will get a lot of extra attention by CM's that way.
We have been to Disney a few times, and Chef Mickey's is their favorite place to eat. Apparently if you tell them it is your birthday, you get a birthday placemat, pin/button and a cupcake.
