First Trip - January 2011

Long time lurker, first time poster!
Finally after many, many years of nagging my family, we're off to Anaheim in January next year.

Accommodation has been booked, can't remember where but it seemed okay from the reviews on travel adviser and after all, it's just a place to crash each night after a busy day at the Happiest Place on Earth

We're arriving in LA (from Aust!) late January, early February, dates still need to be confirmed. How many days would we need across both parks? There are 6 of us, four kids aged between 10 and 20 and two adults. Ultimately we'd like to do as much as we can within both parks, including the shows and parades.

Also, I know it will be winter when we're there and I think the weather will be around the same as our winters...not snow, obviously although that would be amazing (I can always dream...) but around 59deg F (15deg C?) or less...and what's the chance of rain?

Anyway I'm so excited for this trip, it should be amazing! I've been dreaming of going to Disneyland since I was little and I'm counting down the days until I'll be there!

Have you booked your flights yet? If not try and get one leaving Australia around midnight to get the LA in the morning, you sleep most of the flight and time goes a zillion times quicker
