First trip!! Can you explain pin trading?

pins are bagged individually, no flaws, mickey ear backs, can't beat these for trading. Lanyards @ Walmart (we have a car while in Disney), only like $4.95, super cute lanyards too , Mickey, Minne, Donald etc. We buy misting fans there too (or the Publix), only $5 versus $20 in the parks, exact fan just not "decorated". I never thought I would use a fan, but it's amazing how refreshing it is and how quickly one dries off in the Florida September sun!!
