First Trip - Best Deluxe Resort

My family and I are making our first trip to Disney in April. We have a 4 year old daughter who absolutely loves the Princesses and anything involving them. We know we are going to stay at a deluxe resort, but are just having a hard time making up our mind. Kind of leaning towards the Poly because you can get a view with the Castle in the background. We also would like to stay where they have a pool geared for the smaller kids.
I am open to any suggestions any of you veterans around here might have.

You'll get a different answer from everyone! We love the Contemporary Tower. For us, nothing beats the thrill of having the monorail come right into the hotel. And if we get a MK view room again we'll be dancing for joy!

With a 4 year old, you'll probably spend most of your time @ MK, right? If so, then definitely choose an MK resort for convenience. If she loves princesses, then go for the GF & do both of the character meals there & Alice's tea party. I made the mistake of staying at the BWI my DD's 1st time, so we spent lots of time on the bus! For our 2nd trip we chose the WL & it was perfect for us, but it was Dec. (amazing holiday decor & cozy atmosphere), & back when Pocohontas had a breakfast there, which DD loved. Have a great time!

The GF or the Poly for sure. My girls thought it was great to slide through a volcano. if you get a lagoon view room she can see Cindy's castle.

With a 4 year old I would go with the WL. The resort has the smallest number of rooms of all the deluxes, is smaller so less walking for little legs, and has a wonderful pool with a water slide that is small enough she would likely enjoy (you can stand at the bottom) there is also a quiet pool that is rarely ever used. Also the hot tubs are right beside the pool so it is a quick trip back and worth.

The only negative at all I can think of compared to the other MK resorts is the lack of the monorail. However there is a boat to MK which has the best area for that age or it is a quick boat trip over to CR to access the monorail.
