*~* First Trip: 59 Years In The Making *~* 11/25 - PTR is now closed!

Saturday December 1st - Resort Day!

* Bus to EPCOT. Walk through EPCOT to Boardwalk area.
* Explore Boardwalk area Resorts (YC/BC/BW)
* Lunch at Captain's Grille at the YC (12/21 credits) *need to make ADR
* Walk through EPCOT

Sunday December 2nd - EPCOT - easyWDW "Recommended" and 1.2/10 Touring Plans

* Bus to EPCOT by 8:00 am
* Walk through EPCOT to BW area (hmmm will this be an issue with WSC not opening til 11am??)

I would suggest taking a bus to HS and either catching a boat or walking to Boardwalk area resorts, that way you don't have to walk through a park to get there. I would think it would probably be a shorter walk too then all the way from the front of Epcot.

All the rest of your plans sound great!!!

Have you ever eaten at Captain's Grille?? We have reservations for dinner with my parents (surprising my mom its her birthday dinner and she does not even know she will see us that day.

Joining in :thumbsup2 Found your PTR in the December board. I am having the issue that you had. We are booked at AOA in a LM room and are now thinking of changing to Pop to try to get free dining when it comes out. I was really looking forward to staying there, but I guess we can always walk over for dinner or to explore from Pop.

Time to go back and get all caught up on your report now!:)

Welcome aboard, nice to have you!! We considered swapping to POP too but decided to go CSR since it's mom's 1st trip and she fell in love with the pics!

Thursday December 6th
*Collapse in a heap

Friday December 7th
*See doctor about physical exhaustion and dehydration

:rotfl:

This is true!! Actually, I'm trying really hard to schedule downtime since we didn't do that last year! These are my ideal goals though and I'm super flexible at WDW apart from ADRs that require a CC hold of course.... If the kids have a different plan, we roll with it!

GREAT idea! I didn't even think of that! I've never seen the boat launch for the BW area resorts from DHS - need to find out where that is! I'm assuming right at the entrance?

We've never tried Captain's Grille, but I was looking for a EPCOT area lunch without having to trek into EPCOT and it looked good! I'm going to read more reviews as I'm not 100% sold and there are SO many yummy places in EPCOT, but I'm leaning heavily towards it! The menu looks wonderful!

If you are facing the entrance to HS, the dock is on your right.

The boat also has stops at all the resorts so you could get off at the yacht and beach club.

We have eaten at Big River Grille and Brewing Works and thought it was delicious! It is on the boardwalk.

I was just looking at BRG&BW menu last night and it does look yummy!! Thanks for the tip about the boat, definitely revising the plans and will take the boat VS walking through Epcot!

Coming over from my PTR to yours. Your kids are precious and your Mom looks so sweet! Can't wait to read more about your trip. My DS had his first hair cut at WDW in February. It was wonderful and they did a great job with him. And it's so cheap too! I couldn't believe when they told me it would only be $15. :rotfl: Anyways, I'll have to come back and catch up.

Great 4th of July pics! I am so, so happy that you have a ressie at AKL! You have to take a pictu of your mom when she finds out! Can't wait to see ow your kids react to the animals as well!

I'm *SO* excited! I'm not telling my mom at all, we are just going to show up to AKV on ME instead of CSR and let her be so surprised!!! :dance3:

Joining in. I did the same thing to DD when we took a mother/daughter only trip. She thought we were going to CBR, but we went to AKL instead.

We took my mom for her first trip in 2010 at the age of 58. She LOVED it. It's so much fun seeing it through a kids eyes, but I think watching my mom was even more fun!

The glow stick bath was cute and hilarious at the same time. It's like a rave for pre-schoolers.
