i am taking my three year old ds and his five year old cousin along with a good friend in april. bought three day park hopper passes and i am so excited! this will be the first trip for all of us what are the must sees and dos especially for kids this age? thanks for all your advice!

Welcome! You are going to have such a fun time! Those are AWESOME ages to take the little ones for the first time; you are going to love seeing the wonder in their eyes!

You'll get one Magic Morning (early entry) with your 3-day parkhopper; use it do all the Fantasyland rides-- it's a great introduction to the parks.

For lots of ideas on where to stay, how to plan, how to avoid standing in long lines (a really good idea with young ones with limited patience) there's a terrific tips compilation by Hydroguy here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1520483

Have a great time planning! :goodvibes

Nust do's for this age group are:
DL:
Get a first time button at city hall
Get a GIANT cookie at the main street bakery
Bring an autograph book
Toon Town charactor meet and greet and home exploration
Buzz lightyear astroblasters
Winney the pooh (charactor meet and greet outside the ride too)
All of fantasyland
Its a small world
Tiki room
Tom Sawyer Island
Shooting range in frontierland
Big Thunder Ranch
POTC
Autopia
Tea Cups
Finding nemo submarine ride
Jungle Cruise
Parades!
Fitrworks--observation deck of the future house in tommorrowland is a great place to watch

If they are braver, all the thrill rides are great, as is the haunted mansion

DCA:
Playhouse Disney
Aladin
Toystory Midway Mania
Monsters Inc
All of Bugs land...although the movie can be scary for little ones
Turtle Talk with crush
Muppet vision 3D if they like the muppets
Pixar play parade

Again if they are more adventurous go for bigger thrills, soaring and grizzly river run are great and not too scary. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me, I'm going with my 3.5 year old again in 2.5 weeks

Ohh be sure to take a break during the day and a stroller wouldn't be a bad idea, even for the 5 year old! Above all enjoy yourself and don't forget to look for the hidden mickeys!

Wow the PP pretty much got everything :D I would advise on a stroller also, my DD was 4 last year and we ended up needing one towards the end of the day. Id definately say see the fireworks.....amazing!!! Have fun!!

Main Street vehicles should be added to the list. Go at the kids' pace. Some kids love the dark rides and others freak out because of the violence and darkness of some kiddie rides. Snow White has a skeleton and dungeon scenes, Pooh is a fun kid ride but has a moment of darkness, and Mr. Toad send you to H... so some kids will be happy with those rides and others will not be happy campers.

Definitely Small World, FAntasyland rides, Nemo, and if they love princesses do Ariel for lunch. B oys can meet and greet at Condor Flats the Cars characters. Crush Talk also is kid friendly and a great way to rest for half an hour.
