Hi All!
I'm fairly new here, I'm planning the first disney trip for my DBF and I. So this is my PTR, hopefully this will help with my planning.

Here is the cast
Me (Amy) - 19
I'm the more shy, reserved one. I am also a fairly picky eater. I am doing all of the planning, DBF is just along for the ride.

DBF (Matt)- 18
Also a Disney first timer. He is more outgoing, he will try anything once. I'm not sure that he even knows any of the plans, other than that we are going. He is the type to book one day and go the next.

So far, our plans are, to fly out of here (NL, Canada) August 24th, putting us in Orlando around 1:30, and staying until September 2nd, with a mid afternoon flight out.

Our resort plans are still pretty undecided. I had planned on just staying at a value, but I have been looking at the moderates a fair bit recently, particularly Port Orleans French Quarter. I don't know if it is worth the upgrade though, without just going all out with a deluxe, which is definitely out of the question.

We won't be renting a car, as we are too young, and since we have never done Disney before, we figure there should be enough to keep us occupied there. I do plan on taking a cab one day to go shopping somewhere, and I have been contemplating a day at Universal, but I don't know if I will actually end up doing that.

So, I think that is all I have done up until now! Any tips or advice you have would be great too!
