We are a couple in our 30's with girls 4 & 7 and a boy 12. We did 6 nights/5 days at WDW and visited the 4 main parks. We were able to extend our vacation from a 3 night / 4 day plan to 6 nights and 5 days due to discounts we located here. (Our initial booking was 3/4 through disney and was for 2050.00. We did the 6/5 with codes found here for same amount. (staying at the same resort)

We were able to check in and get into our room at 7 a.m.

We started at Magic Kingdom with breakfast at cinderellas castle. It was magical and wonderful. Alladdin talked to my 4 year old for about 5 minutes while we waited to be seated and stole her heart. It accomplished 2 very important things. First it plunged us into the magic where we remained our whole trip. Second the $81.00 ticket for breakfast made every other meal we had seem like a bargain.

We visited most of the attractions in fantasyland and Futureworld then bought lunch at Pecos Bills and carried it to SaloonShow in Libertytown. The food was great and the show was not to be missed. We got seats in the center of the first floor and everyone in our party was part of the show. My 4 year old wanted to know if dads new friends (the dancing girls) were going to stay with us at the hotel. (mom said no, darn it)

We visited Tom Sawyers island and got back in time to see the 3 o'clock parade. Alladdin made eye contact with my daughter and pointed right at her ( at least we thought he did)

We headed back to fantasyland and saw Lion King and revisited the kids favorite attractions. We left before the fireworks and settled in to our room at Port Orleans Riverside.

Day 2

We started early at Animal Kingdom and we able to visit most of the attractions (Dinasour was closed) and be on our way to EPCOT by 2 p.m. Test Track was down due to weather. Visited Honey I shrunk the audience and rode the boat across the to Germany and then got dinner in the american section but heavy rains kept us under the umbrella where we listened to the big bands. We walked around the lake to watch fireworks from the exit side of the lake. A fantastic show even in the rain.

Day 3

We spent the entire day at MGM. We got to visit everything. Rocknrollercoaster and TowerofTerror were big thrillers. We breakfasted at the commissary and did lunch at Planet Pizza. This was dad's favorite park. Who Want's to be a millionaire was lots of fun too. Backlot tours was to slow for the youngsters but Ariel's show was a big hit. The fireworks show was spectacular, even in the drizzling rain.

Day 4

Back to MagicKingdom. We visited the lands we had missed and headed back to the resort at 4p.m. for swim time. headed back to the park about 7:30 and rode spacemountain, watched the night parade and fireworks. Dad surprised mom with a charm for her bracelet and we had Pizza back at the resort.

Day 5

EE at epcot to get Test Track Fast Pass. Rode spaceship earth and headed to Animal Kingdom. Caught Tarzan and Dinasour and the birdshow. Lunched in Harrabee village then headed back to Epcot. Rode Test Track and did Living seas then relaxed while we waited for fireworks.

We had a great trip even though we left much of EPCOT unexplored.

Regrets: never rode the monorail, only booked one character meal

Lessons learned: enjoy the afternoon showers. Wear fast drying clothes and enjoy brief relief from the heat. Be prepared for the all day drizzle with a Poncho.

I can't believe that Dinosaur was closed.....hope you were able to get back to it.......it is our favorite there.......Tower of terror was that ......a terror........yikes.......I do it every time......but it is still a thriller......thanks so much for the great report

Sounds like you had a great time. Even though you missed some of Epcot, it sounds like your days were pretty full and you made good use of time. When were you there? We leave in 10 days and I was just wondering how the crowds were.

We were there Fri July 20 until Tue July 24. Using fast past and alternating a show between rides we did not face any really bad lines EXCEPT FOR MONDAY AT MAGICKINGDOM IT IS EARLY ENTRY DAY AND IT WAS PACKED EASILY TWICE THE CROWD WE HAD ON FRIDAY.

Thanks so much for the report! Aren't you glad you booked those extra days?:)

Sounds like you had a great trip! Thanks for posting. :)
