Hey guys!

So I have not booked my trip just yet but I am in need of info and advice. Its been a tradition of mine to take my kids to DW for their 5th bdays. However for my sons fifth I decided lets go to Disneyland!

I would like to go from Aug 2-7th of 2010. Yes the summer months. How packed does it get in the beginning of August? I can't change his Bday.

Also more importantly, hotel. Which of the three is the best and which of the Good Neighbor hotels are the best and closest?

Like DW is there Magical Express? And is there any way to take a shuttle or cab into Lego land. I know its not close, but I dont drive so I need an alternative to getting there if possible.

Any other crucial info you may have would be great too. thank you in advance. :surfweb:

starting to consider this for next summer. I don't have a clue where to start - the Disney web site?? I don't even know what hotels are there, or what airport is closest?!?!?! So I REALLY need some guidance here!:confused3

That is around the same time I think we might be going next. We always go during the summer and we like it. I don't find it overly crowded or crazy. Crazy was this past New Year's Day. You couldn't even see the ground in front of you while you walked somewhere because it was so packed. I've never seen it that bad during the summer. If you get there before park opening and collect FPs, you should have no problem getting to see what you want. Plus the hours are long and most everything is up and running.

We would like to try the Candy Cane Inn next time. We have never been but my sister has and she liked it and it got good reveiew on Trip Advisor. It is also walking distance.

Don't know how you can get to Legoland. Maybe see if there is a bus? I don't know offhand. But 5 years is a good age for it. We took our twin boys when they 5 and they enjoyed it.

FYI the Disneyland Express is not free as it is/was at DW. You have to book & pay for your tickets from the airport to the hotel. There are lots of hotels across the street that would work for less $$$. We do like the DW experience but saving some $$ is important. HTH!
