First-timer worried about Disney letdown

plan (which it seems like you do)....take breaks in the middle of the day with a 4 year old...realize that you will only be able to see and do about 1/3 to 1/2 of what Disney has to offer on this one trip...and relax and enjoy your family.

I wouldn't worry too much about the let down, especially since you're taking along a 4 y/o. Once you get there you'll have a great time. I thought the samething this past August when I went with a friend, but I wasn't let down. Keep getting yourself worked up, and once you get there you should have a great time.

I would agree with the Take a break idea a couple of post back. Last year my kids were 6,4 and 6 months. The six month old was the easiest. The first day we skipped over taking a nap. Worst mistake of the week. Then all the other days we would do our morning park with early entry, ride back to the resort for a hour off and go to our evening park. It was a great way to do it. That first night my DW and I were both carrying a sleeping kid on our shoulder after fireworks. That is not easy in the crowd for the buses after fireworks. All the other days our kids were awake at the end of the day. Plus during the break you can stop and think about what it is you want to do the rest of the day and plan.

Hey dont worry about it. I have been to Disney plenty of times and I never seem to be letdown. There is so much to do that you will always be occupied. Also dont worry about planning every day. Just get your passes and room before the trip. Of coarse pack your stuff but from there just go with it. Decide in the morning or the night before what you want to do! And remeember HAVE FUN, 'CAUSE THAT'S WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT!!!!! :D
