We're a group of 6 adults and 4 kids age 11, 8, 4 and 2. We're planning a 2 day visit, a day at each park, end of March.

I heard they don't allow carry ons, but with a 2 yr old I need diapers, milk and extra clothes with me all the time. So i need to be able to take a bag. If not what are my options?

Strollers, are we allowed to take in the stroller? If yes, can we stuff things in the under bag of the stroller?

I get the feeling most of the ride are geared towards older kids, is there anything for a 2 and 4 yr old?

What are the must do rides, we're harry potter fans too.

Weather?? Should we be wearing shorts and short sleeves or do we need longs? Specially for kids.

Thank you.

There are a handful of rides in each park that don't allow any carryon items, but you can certainly bring a stroller and/or bag into the parks themselves. All the rides that have this rule will NOT be ridden by a 2 and 4 year old for sure, so the adult not riding with the kids or using child swap can stay with the stroller, etc. Both parks have areas that ARE geared for younger set, IOA has Seuss Island, where all of the rides should be fine for the little ones, and some are ONLY for the little ones. USF has Fievel's playground and Curious George area, the Barney show, etc.

Easter is March 31st.

you said you are going at the end of March.

expect crowds in that time period.

between the holiday and spring break, the parks will be crowded.
weekends probably more so.

Yes, we're arriving their March 26th and is planning on visiting IOA and universal studios on the 27th and 28th, weekdays.

That's great!! The grandparents are visiting with us so they can be with the stroller and the bags.

There's a Barney show!!! I couldn't find any info. My younger daughter will be thrilled.

The Barney show has very comfortable park benches around the back of the theatre. Let the kids sit up front and any tired adults can relax in the back.

Keep in mind that the way child swap works is the entire party goes through the line together and you swap in a room at the end. Strollers are not allowed most (or all, possibly) of the lines at Universal, so you'll have to park those outside and carry bags in.
