My family has a list of places we want to eat. How many of these should I make a reservation for? The menus look good but how is the food. Please feel free to rip my list to shreds. BTW Park days are August 16th -24. Thnx
Anrojito's
Cowfish
Hard Rock Cafe
Pat O'Brien's
The Kitchen
Island Dining
Mythos
Finnegan's Lombardi's Confisco
3 Broomsticks
Leaky cauldron
Last question are any worth going to twice? THNX again

I always say we never make dining reservations for anywhere, but if you really want to eat at Mythos then maybe make one for there. Few days before or on the day will be fine.

Out of your choices I'll tell you what we would choose.......others opinions will vary of course........:D

Cowfish.........would definitely eat here twice......we did last year and could have gone a third time easily.....

Confisco Grille is excellent.......and very cheap for table service. We usually eat here more than once too....

Lombards do a lovely lobster roll..........never had a bad meal in there, always excellent and the restaurant is beautiful inside......not your normal theme park place.

Mythos.......never fails to please even the fussiest of eaters.........again, usually visit more than once......went four times one year and every meal was fantastic.

Islands Dining........we like it, especially if the characters are there.......but the menu doesn't suit everyone so would check that out yourself first.

The Kitchen is worth a visit.

The rest of the places aren't necessarily bad.......just not for us. HRC we find too loud. Food is good though.

Finnegans we have tried several times and will not go back.........Antojitos just not a fan of their food......cocktails look good though.

Potter restaurants.....not interested in the food for us, but the atmosphere in both are wonderful......and folks seem to enjoy the food overall.

Don't like Pat o Briens.

Again, just one persons opinion.......I can guarantee you'll get a varying response from others ::yes::

THNX Do you know if any of those places give AP discount? THNX

OMG it's going to be so much cheaper to eat at UNI compared to Disney and that's before getting AP discount

You're most welcome..........glad to help.

It is cheap. And for the most part (always exceptions) food quality is excellent..........

We don't find Universal or Orlando for that matter expensive at all......but I do get into trouble for saying that :rotfl:

Coming from the UK it's so much cheaper for us........again, others mileage may vary..........:thumbsup2

We had our only bad meal/experience at Pat O'Briens so would skip that.

We've done hard rock, mythos, 3 broomsticks and leaky cauldron from your list and enjoyed.

How about Margaritaville? We always enjoy it there.

I did food reviews as part of my trip reports, my 2014 and 2015 trip reports are on the Universal trip reportssection on here.

THNX dh doesn't seemed thrilled with the Margaritaville menu

Are you hitting Islands for breakfast or dinner? We actually have breakfast there every day that we are at Universal. :goodvibes The buffet is my husbands favorite, but I like to order off the menu.

Sorry all those meals are lunch or dinner. We'll be staying in a condo and having breakfast there

Hard Rock is just like every other Hard Rock; mediocre and over priced. Cowfish and Mythos are a definite yes. Also be sure to get a Krusty Burger!

THNX I'm not sure about eating at qs locations I have to be gluten and dairy free.

We've been to antojitos twice...that's it for us. Several have replied lately they like it but we won't be back. Agree with others on hard rock. Loud and mediocre food. Pat o'briens is a fun atmosphere but the food was average. The rest of your choices sound good though. Margaritaville has good food and is a fun place to dine.

Also, not sure where you are staying, but since you are offsite there are a ton of great choices offsite.

Getting my boys out of a park isn't always easy and I have to be very careful about where I eat
Lol getting me out of the parks isn't easy so I understand! We always stay onsite but always make a quick trip to bubbalous bodacious BBQ. It's maybe 5 to 10 minutes from the parks. Millers Ale House is also just off property (literally) and has good food and lots of tv's. I'm a sports nut so I like the atmosphere.

THNX I'm thinking maybe PF Chang as I know that's safe for me

Love Bubbalous!!!

We are staying offsite too and I googled mapped the area and was able to see a lot of places in the universal area (and on the path to our condo) Very large assortment. Might help you with more choices and your dietary safety

Also Universal looks like it closes around 8-8:30 that week I think. I was thinking some days we might snack around and leave a bit early and eat a late supper on the way back to the condo. More choices that way
