Hi Everyone,

We are headed to DLP next year, most likely October 2016. Yep, quite far from now lol. We are moving to Germany in June of next year as my husband is in the Army, so we won't be too far away. Are there any military families on here?

We are WDW & DL Vets, so planning a DLP trip is pretty confusing to me. Can you stay offsite? Is it better to get a package through them, or to purchase it separately? I am sure we will be able to get reduced tickets/packages through our ticket office when we are there. If not, I am open to booking elsewhere.

I read that DP has the FP system, so that's a definite plus from the FP+ system we are used to at WDW.

When we last went to DL in 2012, we stayed offsite and drove to the park every day. We had a three day park hopper. Is it relatively easy to do it the same way? It may be quite hard for us to stay onsite as we are a family of 6.

I'm super excited to go, we just love the Disney feeling, and WDW is one of our favorite places to vacation. DLP has been on my bucket list for quite some time, so all of us can't wait to go!

What are all the ins and outs that I need to know about DLP? hotels, dining, rides etc etc. Thank you!!

If you're going to be driving to DLRP then Davy Crocket ranch might really be worht looking at for you.

Similar to the cabins at FW so plenty of space for all 6 of you. :)

For me packages always seem to work out cheaper. Check the official site for prices and go from there.
