First timer: which park to do twice?

Hi! It’s our first time at Disneyland. We are going tomorrow (Monday) through Wednesday. We have three day passes that let us do one park per day. It’s me, my husband, and 4 year old (40” tall)

It’s supposed to rain tomorrow and Tuesday. Tomorrow we’ll get to one park in the afternoon through closing. Since we have three days (two in the rain), Which park should we do twice??

Which park has the most rides and activities for a 40” tall kid that won’t be closed for rain?

Disneyland. There is just more to do in Disneyland than DCA.

so being that you have no tradition in Disneyland.....the rain may actually force you to travel in sheltered attractions. a round tirp on the train would be a great start, see the layout of Disneyland and then depart from the train in new orleans and board the Haunted Mansion...it is not scary.....though ride pirates first to see how your child reacts to the unknown skelton dark, then HM, then over Pooh and if the child is surviving all the dark, and if tall enough for Indy, then you have spent most of your time in sheltered attractions that should be board very fast due to the rain. Then catch the train again to Fantasyland, where there is no cover from the rain, but attractions may board very fast.. by then it will be cold, you will be wet and can head back to lodging having donw the best you can to keep dry. Star Wars is a wait out of the rain also

Tuesday in DCA....well, you are going to get wet, no long protected areas or attractions inside except for mermaind and toy story. Animation academy is great for out of the rain, surely to be really crowded with tiny folks,so much to do. Monsters Inc is close by with short lines Raditor Racers has a nice wait area out of the rain also.

Wednesday back to Disneyland to board the outdoor attractions. Wednesday normally are really good days, but with the rain, who knows who will arrive.

alas, even veterans visitors struggle in the rain...but at least you visited on a very non-crowded day...that is a plus!!!
