First Timer, Picking up Annual Pass for Late Checkin

Hello,

I'm not really sure how to go about this because I've never been to Disney World.

My flight lands about 1am, and I have a room booked onsite with a passholder discount.
Do I have to go pick up my annual pass before I check in? I'm assuming the parks are closed at this point.

Also if I have to pick up in the morning, can I pick it up before rope drop at the Magic Kingdom that morning?

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I have checked in more than once with an AP discount before I activated my AP and have never had an issue. I didn't activate until day 2 of each trip.

You shouldn't have any problem as the AP is already linked to your account, just not ativated.

You can activate at Will Call outside of MK. It opens before the park (not sure of exact time) and lines are shorter than Guest Relations

You can also activate an Annual Pass at any ticket window.
