So, my husband and I are planning our first trip to Disney in November with our 5yr old son. To say I'm confused over where to say would be putting it lightly :goodvibes

We know we want to stay offsite, we plan on renting a car so transportation isn't an issue. We'd like to keep it to under $100 a night.

We have no idea whether to go with Bonnet Creek or try to use priceline for a hotel. For those of you that have used priceline, do you only get lucky close to the departure date?

Thanks for all your help, reading these boards is invaluable!

Personally I wouldn't do Priceline for a hotel for 3 because of all the variables- might end up with only one bed or a crazy resort fee. For 3 and offsite I think I'd try WBC.

For first timers, trying to pick a place in Orlando is like trying to pick a bottle of wine in a liquour store. Hotels in Orlando are a dime a dozen. For just the three of you, the choices are endless. You should have no problems getting a nice hotel off priceline for waaayy under $100 a night. And if you decide on Wyndham bonnet creek, you should be able to get a one bedroom suite for under $100 a night also.

Would not do priceline if looking to pick your hotel. Priceline picks for and will not see name of the hotel until pay for it.
