First Timer: How should I do Universal AND Horror Nights the SAME DAY/NITE??

We will be @ Universal on a Wednesday in October
ALL DAY and then at 7:00 PM for HALLOWEEN Horror Nites.

What should we do as far as taking a break, would you suggest a
very Long Lunch Break Outside of Universal (if so, where?)

OR

very long Dinner Break outside of Universal (where?)


Also, if you are out at parks all day and all nite, do you bring a change of
clothes w/ you?? How do u carry them??

How should we div-vee up our day?

I'd go back to the hotel and take a mid-day nap or swim but be sure and be back at the parks before 5:00 PM so you can be there for Stay and Scream.

During the day, crowds are light. If you arrive to the park at 08:30am, you'll be one of the first into the park and you can get most things done by lunch time.

Get your hand stamped, keep your ticket, leave the park and go eat lunch. Go back to your hotel room, shower, and take a nap.

What is Stay and Scream?
Those who are already in the park, and have a valid HHN ticket, get to stay in the designated area. But, you must be inside the park by 5pm. So if you leave at lunch time, it's a good idea to re-enter by 04:30pm. At 5pm, guards go thru the park telling those without an HHN ticket to leave.

Those in the Stay and Scream area get a head start on those waiting outside at the main gate. That head start can mean you can get two houses done as a walk thru, before the crowd hits. Plus you can sit and have a drink, because the stay and scream area is usually in front of a restaurant and bar.

Anyone know where it will be this year?
