My Daughter & I are going to Disney World in September for the first time for both of us. She will be 17...

Any suggestions?

We have the premium tickets as well as the dining plan and will be there for 7 nights (9/2-9/9)

Do they run out of wristbands for evening EMH? We will be arriving at the Hotel (Pop Century) at around 7:00pm. Is is worth it to try to make it to MK for EMH?
Or should we head for DisneyQuest?

I'd definitely take MK for EMH over DQ. If it's a dreary day and too wet for the parks, you might give DQ a shot, but it'll be packed.

I don't think they'd run out of wristbands for EMH in September. Most schools are back in session and it should be a little less crowded then.

Welcome to DIS!

Riding the mouseboats would be fun. You can rent from the Poly, Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge marinas.

Even though your dd is 17, I think I would do 1 character meal, they are always fun. We really like Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

Are you interested in seeing La Naouba? I've never seen it, but hear it is great.

You could try the EMH. Personally, I think they are waste of time. Very large crowds and the Fastpasses are usually given out for the day by then. However, if you want to take it slow, and walk around, take in the MK which is beautiful at night, I say you might as well go as long as you don't have your hopes up for riding a lot of rides. You could see Wishes and maybe Spectr...do a little shopping....have fun!

In september, MK tends to close at 8pm, with EMH 11pm.

Since you're getting to the hotel around 7pm, with checking in, getting settled in the room, plus transfer time to MK etc etc, you're looking to be at MK around 8:30/9:00pm. I'd say don't even bother going anywhere.

Stay at POP, look around the hotel, take a swim, relax, have dinner at the food court, and get a good night's rest. Then tackle the parks in the morning nice and fresh.

If you do want to go to MK, then I wouldn't do the popular rides just yet. Just go and enjoy that you're in MK. Take pictures, walk around the shops, go on some of the less popular rides, or make a dinner reservation for Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree Tavern or Cinderella's Royal Table.

There's no limit on wristbands for EMH, so don't worry about that. That being said, there's no limit on wristbands, so everyone else may have the same plans as you...

Thanks Great suggestions so far. I should mention, although DD is 17, she is totally into the chaactors and can't wait to meet Tigger.

I have already made PS at Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree, Garden Grill, Coral Reef, Mama Melrose and Restaurantosaurus......

:cool1: I am also a first timer. We will be there 10/2 -10/8. Staying at Port Orleans Riverside. My husband and I and are 2 girls ages 6 and 13.
I just made a reservation for the princess breakfast at Epcot for 10/2.
So we are exactly 90 days out, I am really getting excited now that its so close.

Welcome to the DIS! Have a great trip when you go, & just do everything that you see. :p
