Hi All,

Well the time has come around for our first ever trip to DLRP - can't believe that its finally here! DH, DD1, DD2 and me are off to London on Saturday for the day, and then onto the Eurostar on the Sunday until we hit the magical gates of Disney! We are staying in the Dream Castle for 3 nights.

Just starting to panic a little about all the things I should have sorted out but haven't (no change there then!). Has anybody got any tips for our stay? I am excited about going but worried that our slow pace (DD1 is 4 and DD2 is 15months!) will mean that we don't get everything done!

Thanks to you all for your help!

:cheer2:

Relax and have fun, if you don't get everything done all the more reason to go back another time! :dance3:

Our youngest was 18 months on her first trip and she was still running when the adults were falling down ready to sleep, you'll do great!

Have you considered a buggy or buggy board for the 4 year old, there's a lot of walking it helps if they've some way to rest up a while.

Other than that have fun and come back and tell us about it :thumbsup2

Hi. I went in April for the first time with dh, ds (5) and dd (20 months). I would definitely hire a stroller as our 5 year old did get very tired with all the walking. Also I would say pick out a few things that you know for sure you want to do and do them first. We wasted most of the first day walking around trying to decide what to do!
I'd also avoid the shops for the first day as it's easy to spend ages wandering around them.
Have a brilliant time... I'm so jealous, I want to go back! :)

Don't worry, you'll have a fab time and if you don't get chance to do it all ~ then you can go back again!! :wizard:

Hi, I'm also goingo on Sunday with DD4 and DD2 (she is actually 21 months) so I'm sure we will be about doing the same things. We are going for 5 days.
Since we arrive early on sunday and there is a chance our room won't be ready, we are going to try to go to the sunday brunch at the steakhouse.
I didn't make reservations, but hopefully we will be in.
Monday, we are planning on using the EMH to visit Fantasyland in DLPark.
Then we made reservations in Auberge of Cendrillion as both my DDs are pricesses fanatics.
After that, we probably will take a nap a continue to visit the parks in the afternoon.
We are doing the studios on tuesday. There isn't much for the little ones there, so I think we will be done by noon, when we will try to do the new buffet (I forgot the name of the restaurant @ WDS that do the buffet) and then to the hotel for naps, and the afternoon will be either DLP again or pool.
Wednesday we want to go to Paris, and depending on the return time, the nearby mall.
Finally, thursday is our final day, so we will try to do whatever we didn't see or want to do again.
There are a couple of rides that I want to do by my own, I guess using fastpass that the kids can't go on. I want to do specially the rides that we don't have at WDW (Crush, Indiana Jones and maybe SP).
So I'll probably see you there.
Have fun!!!

I'd second the advice about a buggy. You will walk miles and definitely your 4 year old will appreciate getting the chance to rest their legs :)

Thanks to everyone for their help - I had been debating about the buggy for DD1 and am glad to know she may need it - looks like Eurostar will be getting a big package when we board!

Its really funny listening to everyone who is also going to be there at the same time - it just seems so unreal that we are from all over and still be in the Park on the same days!

Hope everyone has lots of fun - I will report on our trip when we get back if anyone is interested!
