We are staying in the 3 bedroom beach cottage next week for the first time. We have four kids (3-15). Are there any suggestions that you could give us? Or anything we must do?

They have a ton of activities at Vero and the staff is fantastic. There's the mini golf right there on site plus a bunch of other sports too. You can get games from the community hall, they do bingo and camp fires. I think you will have a great time.

Also, across the street there are tennis courts, basketball courts, Horse shoe beds, a soccer field, and a little nature walk around the little lake. This is on the other side of A1A, but they have an underground tunnel for resort guests. I believe Eb & Flows have all the necessary toys. The tunnel is an enjoyable walk with murals and typical Disney theme sounds. CMs also park over there and use the tunnel to get to and from the resort.

What are you and your family into:
Sports
Fishing
Nature
Lounging around on the beach
Eating out
Shopping
the more information you give us the better we can assist you.

Sports - spring training baseball has a team training in Vero, Golf excellent courses near by
Fishing - Both deep-sea and river/flats are available
Nature - Eco-tours and eco-learning center nearby
Lounging - Right on the beach at the resort or over on vero Beach itself
Eating out - Many locations
Shopping - Shopping villages, major retailers, and a flea market are in Vero

Actually, The Dodgers left Vero Beach several years ago. However the Mets are 30 south in Port St. Lucy, and other teams are within an hours drive or so.

Or anything we must do?

Sit on the porch swing :goodvibes and use the hammocks :goodvibes

We stayed in the cottage for 2 nights and loved it  We were in the one on the far left and unfortunately we had some vegetation blocking some of our ocean view, but they are great places to stay.

We had a couple sit on our swing for a few minutes while we were in the cottage. It was weird. I guess they didn't realize the swing wasn't for just anybody. :rotfl2:
