Hi,

I'm all booked up to go in August and now looking to book my dining reservations (maybe a bit late but i'm not looking to goto any of the signature or character experiences). I have the DDP and when i signed up online on the Disney site it gave me the option to link my stay (booking) to my disney account for the purposes of booking reservations. I didn't have a confirmation number but phoned up and got that but it still won't recognise that and it won't link my holiday package booking to my disney account. Despite this can i just book reservations normally online and then they will be fine when i turn up to the reservation looking to use ddp?

Sorry if it's a silly question i just wanted to make sure before i make bookings that i wasn't going to regret not being able to get my DDP and my online account linked,

Many thanks in advanced,

Scott

Yes. The ADR system only cares about your resort package for 2 scenarios...

1) Are you eligible for 180+10 perk? If staying onsite, you are able to make up to 10 days worth of dining reservations at 180 days before date of check-in. Otherwise, you may only make them up to 180 days before date of dining.

Since you're within that 180 day window, this won't matter one bit.

2) Utilization of a credit card hold instead of full prepay for certain prepay experiences (Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop de Doo Revue, Spirit of Aloha, and Mickey's Backyard BBQ). If your package has an eligible dining plan associated with it, and you wish to dine at one of these, AND you wish to pay with credits, then you can forego the full prepay and instead guarantee it against a card instead.

Outside of those 2 cases, your resort reservation won't matter when making your ADRs. Each and every restaurant will ask if you're using the dining plan when you check in, and when you are seated, and when your server comes up. They'll all explain it too... it gets old :p.

Thank you very much for the quick and helpful response, greatly appreciated.
