We just recently returned from a brief 3 day stay.

We were visiting family in Florida and drove up for a few days. It was a group of 9 - four adults (late 30's,early 40's) and 5 kids. (age 4 - 12)

We stayed at Royal Pacific - which we liked - nice hotel, lovely grounds. The Express Pass is truly incredible - I cannot imagine going to the parks during a busy week without it.

We did 2 days at IOA, one at US. I was surprised - I thought we would prefer US - but everyone voted to go back to IOA on the 3rd day - Only 2 of the adults are hard core coaster riders - so I was surprised by this. Nonetheless, Kids LOVED Seussland, and Jurassic area. Spiderman was great - and the architecture/desgin of the IOA is really nice.

We ate at Mythos (amazing food - and visually impressive - really an unexpected jewel in a theme park)

We also had dinner at Margaritaville - (lots of fun -good drinks- average food)
and Tchoup Chop (amazing food, beautiful inside and great service)

I took my son to Blue Man Group - which I had seen before - and he (6 - almost 7) LOVED it. It was a bit late for him, but he rallied.

We did not use the pools at all - It was a cold spell - but the pool area looked awesome.

Overall a great trip. We could have spent more time in Cytwalk and at the hotels - but the 3 days were plenty for us (using FOTL) to see and do everything we wanted. (My DH rode Hulk and DD at least 5 times each)

My 4yr DD was a bit frightened by some things - but despite this - she had a great time. Interestingly - the adults all loved the Poseidon show - and almost all the kids were terrified. My son loved the Mummy ride - but was put off by the Jaws ride -

Simpsons had a wall around it - but looks awesome from the outside.

Thanks for all the helpful info here. We had a great trip because of it. Everyone in our group was impresssed with the pre-trip knowledge I had - thanks to you all!

Glad you had a great time! Thanks for sharing your trip with us :thumbsup2

Our family always does IOA twice too. US once and a quick hit for the favorites. Cannot wait to see the Simpsons ride.

Thanks! We all love a trip report and there's almost always some bit of advice we can apply to our own trip!
