We're vacationing from May 20th through the 29th...we are hitting DHS on May 22nd...the opening Sunday of SWW... We know going in that it is going to be absolute madness...but that's all part of the fun...right... (LOL)!

I went for the first time to WDW when I turned 29. It's been our favorite place since.

Have fun and enjoy yourself and you will totally appreciate it more now than you would have younger. I still get a little chocked up when I go.

i am 13 and have been almost 6 times to Disney; 7 in 23 days. (but we are not going to the parks, i wish we were) you will absoulety love it. i first went when i was 6 and my sister was 3, so i think your son will be fine with the long days. my advice would be to go to the parks in the morning and in the afternoon come back for a swim at your resort. then your family will be plenty refreshed to go for dinner in the evening. if DS5 likes LEGO, i would check out the LEGO store in downtown disney, because you will find really cool LEGO colours and sets there. Also check out the gharidalli chocolate and ice cream shop in downtown disney, because when you go in there is free samples of chocolate, and it is very good hope you have lots of fun. --DD13--

Hello ont/ohana-Many thanks for all of your advice. My son LOVES Legos-I acutually bought him Harry Potter Lego's for Christmas and we spent HOURS (and I do mean hours) putting them together Thank you for the recommendation about the Ghiradelli store-I am a chocolate FIEND and I love anything free

I am also really excited because the federal tax finally came in...and I'm blowing it all at Disney soooo....I am gonna call our TA first thing Monday morning and PAY OFF OUR TRIP!!!

Booked our flight last night...funny story I need to include here. I attempted to book the tickets the night before last. Chose our departing/returning schedules, put in ALL THE INFORMATION for all four of us, chose our seats, went through the entire spiel...and the CC was declined. I forgot that I need bank approval for charges over $500 online ...good safety precaution ya know!

So I go on last night to book the tickets...and they were each $40 cheaper...saved myself ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS!!!

I've been trying to pay the remaining balance off on our trip but my TA is never available to take the CC number in person. She sent me an e-mail and just told me to leave the information on her voice mail but...no...definately not comfortable with that!

To top everything else off the 4 year old has strep throat He has been sick for 4 days now...missed two days of work (which is bad because, if you remember from previous posts, I began my new career a month ago)...my sister take a day off, my stepson take a day off (killed him to miss a day of school ) and my father is coming down to sit with him tomorrow.

So I wil leave you all with the countdown...getting close now...

So I have strayed from this site for quite some time...lurking but not posting much...sooooo....without further adieu:

We have decided not to go to Universal for the 2 days. I u tubed alot of the attractions and I think my "just turned 5" son will be freaked out by most of them. By not going we are saving ourself $900...by the time we purchase our tickets and pay a cab to transport us! Plus...we now have 2 extra days for Disney...added a park day and now we have one more water park day
