First time you ever ate at WDW was.....?

My first food memory from Disney was from our trip when I was a young boy. It was actually the Mickey Ice Cream bars :mickeybar. I remember my Grandfather getting one for me and I was amazed that ice cream could look like a cartoon character! (If my memory serves me correctly, that was back when they actually had candy eyes and noses on them... or maybe I'm dreaming that part too.. or maybe he added that?)

first trip was in 1980 when I was in high school; we stayed at the Poly and I remember we ate at Cindy's Castle and we did the Lua Dinner at the Poly...not sure which one we did first but they were both a lot of fun.

7 Aug 2004, breakfast in All Star Music food court(pancakes & sausage). We had vouchers for breakfast included in our tickets.
First snack, same day- frozen lemonade in Toontown.
First table service- 8 Aug 2004 Hollywood & Vine(Fantasmic package).

The very first time I went to Magic Kingdom was May 1979 and I was in kindergarten. We went for lunch at the old Adventureland Veranda. It was a CS place and they had hamburgers. I got one but it had some kind of sauce on it and I hated it!!!

11/30/10, Shutters at CBR. Shared a salad and vegetarian pasta dish with hubby but the first taste I had of something there was of the Magical Star Cocktail. Can't go wrong with that! ;)

I remember one trip as a child at some point in the late 80's/early 90's eating in what is now the Garden Grill, and the waitress kept bringing my grandpa Mickey shaped EPCOT butter - that he couldn't eat, the rest of us just kept taking his - but every time the waitress came by - smack, more butter for Poppy. It was hilarious. I don't remember the meal, but I remember the buffalo from the Land, the rotating, and the never-ending parade of EPCOT butter for Poppy. (Who died 17 years ago today, may he rest in peace.)

First meal I remember in detail is from the first trip with DW in 2005 - we ate at the Concourse (may it also rest in peace!) and had a wonderful meal that we both loved and wish we could enjoy again. I had a buffalo steak and a cheese and onion polenta, and we had something fun for dessert.

First thing I actually remember eating, and the place I ate it was a fruit plate at the Electric Umbrella in Epcot in 1986. I know I ate in the parks before that (first visit was in 1977, see my avatar photo), but couldn't tell you what I ate. I seem to recall my Mom saying I liked the hot dog place in MK, which I assume was Casey's.

After that I remember eating at Columbia Harbor House and the Mexico walkup several times in the 80s. I don't think I ate at a TS restaurant until 2009, except for a few catered meals in the Contemporary convention rooms for a competition I was at in HS.

High School trip 1989. We did the luau dinner at the POLY our first night there. We also went to Midevil Times during that trip. I don't know what it is about high school trips and dinner shows!

Next would be 1995 with DH. We did dinner at Portabello YC in DTD our first night.

Fried shrimp at Columbia House, and it was really good, better than I've gotten at full-service restaurants. :) The fries, just okay. ;) We went kinda early -- 11:30? -- practically had the upstairs to ourselves, so I suppose they were really fresh.

1991 we had a burger and chips in a quick service place in Fantasyland for lunch. I don't think it exists now. I remember reading burger and chips and thinking it meant French fries because that was what went with a burger. It was a big surprise when we were handed a bag of chips with the burger!
