800 questions!! lol

1. We are doing Typhoon Lagoon during our trip, we have a 7 & 10 year old and a 10 month old, does castaway creek have baby tubes? can i bring the baby tube (the one they sit in). Are strollers allowed in the park, do people use them, anyone gone to TL with an infant? I will be 3 1/2 months preggo so no rides 4 me, which is fine but was really looking forward to the creek with baby!

2. Doing Chef Mickey's for dinner, parking at cont? will the kids be able to ride the monorail before or after or do you have to be a guest? Can we park at DDD and ride the bus to the monorail then to the cont? I know its lots of riding around but its the first time the kids have ever been to Disney, i think they'd get a kick outta the monorail!!

3. We are parking at MK in case we need to leave the park, the little trams are they stroller friendly? I remember them from when I was a kid but cant remember having a stroller. We are taking our stroller for the convenience of the walk to the car etc.

I am sure I have more if anyone has any similar experiences please post here I would love to hear what people have done, My daughter is very easy going and already has no fear! Thanks so much!!!

:thanks:

Never been to TL, so I can't answer that. But, for Chef Mickey's you can definitely park at the Contemporary. Just tell the guard you have an ADR and he'll look you up and let you in. You can ride the monorail without being a guest. Are you staying onsite? Then you could take a bus from your resort to MK and then take the monorail or walk to the Contemporary. I would not park at DTD to eat at Chef Mickey's unless your kids are really fond of bus rides. You'll add quite a bit of time right there. We have always had to fold our stroller on the tram.

Fire away with those questions! We love to answer them!

Unfourtunately we arent staying on-site but are only a mile away from DTD. Thanks for the tips....anyone else? :sulley:

I don't have any info but I am bumping this cause I too have a 10 month old and am curious about the creek at TL? We were going to avoid the water parks all together for fear of not being allowed to do anything AND the SUN. Don't want a burnt baby and reapplying every 5 minutes seems like more work than relaxation. BUT I am curious to see if anyone knows the answer. GOOD QUESTION. :Pinkbounc

When I was in TL in January, I saw several people riding in the tubes with the babies on their laps... just floating along... some with a towel or other tent like cover over the baby to protect them from the sun. WHICH is a very, very good idea. The sun is VERY strong at TL... or should I say there are more reflective surfaces there... the ground near the wave pool is white with ground glass embedded in the concrete.. to make it look like white sand I guess... this surface really attracts the sun.. so make sure to cover up and lather up! Just a warning!

I did recall seeing smaller tubes for the little ones also.. but not the baby ones you are referring to.... So... I know it is only a partial answer.. but.. you can ride with the baby in the tube with you...if that helps... probably better and more relaxing for you anyway...
