We'll be going for two weeks....want to do Disneyland, California Adventure....San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, Hollywood, Shop, rest, Knotts (?)...not sure what else at this point.

Just give me a road map as to where to start my research and any helpful tips!!!!!!! I can't wait to go already.....

How long are you visiting the West Coast for? Any experience with other Disney Parks?

You might want to check out the Southern California City Pass if you plan on visiting several of the major So Cal attractions (DL, Universal, SD Zoo/Wild Animal Park, and Sea World).

Where are you from and who(ages) are coming on the trip?

She is from NY its under her avatar and looks like she'll be there for 2 weeks.

I noticed you mentioned hollywood but not Universal Studios, for a first time visit i would not leave it out, there are so many things to do and see it has taken us over 10+ trips to get most of it in, A day trip to any of So. Cal's famous beaches, Old Town in San Diego, as well as SD zoo and Wild Animal park, Seaworld, there is also Legoland(for the younger kids). With 2 weeks you have alot of time to pack a bunch in we usually only go for 5 to 7 days, but we live much closer than you:) Just google Southern California and you will come up with alot!!
Also as OC Tony stated the So Cal City Pass is a great value!!
You will love Disneyland, after all it is Walt's park!!!!:thumbsup2

When are you planning to go? That is a big issue. Especially this year. What Disney experience do you have? WDW? How many times? Been to DLR before? When?

I would recommend you start with Mary Jo's sticky thread: * DLR Info/Links - Maps, Hotels, DISer Reviews, Hydroguy's tips, NEWBIE INFO here! where she gives lotd of links.

If you want general DLR information there is a lot of it available on DIS that others have written. There is the new Disneyland menu bar on the forum. You should be able to see it above and the first entry is "Disneyland Information:". Go to the menu items there for lots of great information!
