The last time I went to WDW it was June 2013, just right before they started using FP+. My upcoming trip starts on Dec 10, but I just bought my tickets online through UT so I don't think I'll get the tickets mailed here in time to link them to my account within 60 days. Am I doomed to not get any good FP??

I'm really not looking forward to dealing with the FP+ but I'm going with an open mind that it will all work out, and work out better than the old FP system. I won't be trying to see any Frozen characters so that won't be an issue, however, I'd like to get on Soarin' this trip. I haven't been on that ride in many years.

So, does someone have a link to some good tips on how I get started with FP+ once my tickets arrive?

TIA!!

You probably won't get Anna and Elsa or 7D Mine Train, but there will still be plenty of other good options left!!! There's a thread on here that has a ton of useful info. I don't have the link, but the person who started it generally comments on every question related to FP+ and provides the link. :)

It sounds like it's too late now, but for future reference, if you order e-tickets you can link them to your MDE account right away.

I think you can call UT and get the numbers you need to link tickets. And there is an entire thread devoted to FP but I don't know how to link it. Search FP priorities and it should come up.

I did email UT and they sent me a copy of my passes with the numbers on them. Now I just have to read up on how I do this. I know it's not popular on this board to bash WDW, but I just don't get why they are making everything so complicated.

All you do is log into your MDE account and type in the numbers. It's not at all complicated.

Well, when you put it like that...of course it isn't that complicated to just type in the numbers. I'm talking about everything else. And I'm sure you knew what I meant.
